hiya all, just wondering if any 944ers would be up for a meet any sat in june at fatboys diner, east london, i know there are a fair few of us based in london/essex/ and herts borders, this would be an "informal" meeting, i would love to see other 944s and now the weather is hopefully getting brighter, much time can be spent in the car park! any dates and times much welcomed, regards jason p

Hi Jason, I would def be up for this, would depend on it being on a day off. The 19th is looking good for me. Not sure if that date clashes with any other events tho.

Might be tempted too - June 20th is Fathers Day (and Hearts Perfect Sunday at Hylands House in Chelmsford) so 19th would suit me best. Are we talking about a lunchtime or evening meet?

Yes a really good idea - could do the 19th/20th weekend at present. Bit of a mini trek for me but not too bad as long as the A12 is behaving itself.

I appreciate it is a bit of a long journey for you Jon, especially in a slow Turbo. You could buy a nice fast S2 which would knock a fair chunk of time off the journey tho'. However it would be good to see you if you could make it; after all, as assistant Register Secretary you'd add an air of officialness to it all!

I know, I know ! Its just a mis-guided stubborness on my part that prevents me from embracing the uber-abilities of the S2. [:)][;)] I will certainly try and make it if this goes ahead either with or without my PCGB Polo shirt in place [:D]
