944 meet at fatboys, east london in june

I would have loved to have joined in but been getting in a right pickle with picking my new car up so still don't have one! Would have loved to argue out the turbo/S2 debate over a pint. Sigh maybe next time.

until then "I'll see you on the road scag" - Mad Max (for those so underprivileged souls who don't know it word for word)

Bicycle?

(Hmmmm, now that would make for an interesting afternoon. S2 boys arguing the superiority of their model over the Turbo, with a Turbo owner who arrived on a bicycle ... [:D] )

Oli.

Well, good to put a few more faces to (forum) names, thanks to everyone else who turned up. Shame there weren't a couple more 944's (we were comfortably outnumbered by the 911 boys!)

Maybe next time the sun will shine for more than 10 minutes at a time!

Oli.

P.S. Oh, and if anyone else ever goes to the Fatboys Diner, their Vanilla Milkshake would be better named 'boring ice-cream with milk in'. Avoid ...

Oli, Dave, Edd,

Good to meet you all, I thought there was going to be a few more of us!!

Next time I suggest we make it around 11am we could all sit down for breakfast which did look good [8D]mmmmmm

Never mind the quantity- a good quality turn out....

I'd agree breakfast could be good next time.

By the way Andy you might want to check your speedo - at one point I think you may have exceeded the national limit on the way home.[;)] oh and see you tomorrow.

Dave, yes the speedo its a bit hit and miss after all it is 22 1/2 years old [:D][:D] and yours???

enjoyed the blast, see you at Hylands tomorrow

Yes was good to see some more faces and 944's as always, I still think we should try and make something of a regular 944 meet somewhere, would also be good to see a line of 44's at the classic car night at the Ace if anyone would be interested?

Edd
