Air filter housing removal

Hi guys, am trying to remove the air filter housing to fit an induction cone. The housing itself is held onto the AFM by 4 10mm bolts. I have removed 3 of these but the front lower one is a real pain to get a socket onto due to the plastic parts sticking out within the bottom of the housing.

I could obviously cut the offending plastic parts out to enable access but I'd prefer not too in case I swap back to the standard setup. Anyone going to let me in on the secret way to do it?

Use a smaller socket mate 1/4" set?

Think I used a spanner on mine as I couldn't get a socket on it.

Think I used (if I'm thinking of the same one ) a 1/4 drive with u/j.
Somethinig around that side of the engine I used a cut down ring spanner - but I cant remember what!

Thanks guys, I can't get the space to swing a spanner and have tried all the combinations of socket sets I have. Am thinking a trip to Halfrauds for a u/j will be in order tomorrow.
