Any "Metal Gurus" out there? I'm about to replace all the front ARB bushes, and wonder whether there are advantages or disadvantages to using stainless steel nuts to replace the originals on the drop links and brackets - should these components be high-tensile?

Absolutely. Nothing special at all. I replaced the nut on my ARB drop link with a standard M8 nyloc of the shelf in work.

Replaced all nuts and bolts on mine with stainless items. Works fine. (Also they look a bit smarter and don't rust with time.)

Always thought there was a problem with Galvanic corrosion when combining stainless steel and mild steel such as STST nuts on MS threads, particualry when they spend a lot of time either wet or damp.

I guess there will be a slight galvanic corrosion element, but the electropotential difference between mild steel and stainless steel will be tiny. Nowhere near as bad as, say, the alloy and steel cell created on the calipers.
