At last! it' s only taken me 3 mths to work it out, now for one of those slide show thingys![:D]

Well, you have moved up in the world! I suppose you' ll look down your nose at the rest of us mere mortals, now. Anyway, it' s not like you to be putting stuff on the forum when you could be spending time polishing your shiny new Super Sport! [;)]

Don' t worry. me and Helen will join in with any banter you have to offer, as long as Derek doesn' t tell us off again.

Why can' t I get my picture as my avatar - I have no problem putting silly ' toons there?

I wasn' t telling you off!!!!!!!! The only problem with corresponding by e-mail is that you can' t intimate any form of sarcasm or humour without running the risk of offending someone. [;)]
Welcome to Scotland, Ladies - the more the merrier. [:D]

Ah sarcasm, I believe Nicola has just got you with that one Derek[]
Nicola, you need to reduce your picture in size, a big block of ice always works for me[;)]

Nicola

I think (hope ?) he means reduce the picture size to that allowed for the avatar (145x145x200k).

Mind you, I can' t always find a big enough block of ice.

as Derek is paricipating in this deteriorating thread, at least we won' t get " moderated" [;)]

The picures that I have are not in the original format, they have been saved as jpegs and forwarded to me by e-mail. I can' t seem to alter them from here. Will it be a case of using the original ' puter and modifying them then trying to load it?[8|]

You might be able to safe the jpeg to your computer and then down size it using paint or a photosuite. Would love to know what your wee mouse has clapped his eyes on though[:)]
