I've just bought a new car for breaking. You may have seen the ad on pistonheads (red, fire damaged). I need the engine, the rest of the car will be going on ebay although you lot get first refusal on any parts you need. It has a linen leather comfort interior, grubby but very good nick, the nsf wing, badge panel and bumpers look good (although have been repainted very thickly). Wheels look good although I may keep them for my own car unless someone REALLY wants them plus all the usual bits, gearbox, PAS, trim etc. PM me, Ant.

ETA: has white dials & momo steering wheel.

Is that the one in Gloucester?
Had a little look whilst working down there, with a view to fixing it up. Looked well looked after and minimal fire damage but the sills looked shot to me.
Would have been annoyed if I made the journey specificly as the guy on the phone said it was mint.

Yes thats the one. Its had a bad respray covering up some dodge filler work on the sills & has loads of history but I managed to get it for a reasonable price (I think!). I bought it unseen & the trader told me it was a 'cherished example' and we 'could do it for a special price if you put a deposit down now', fortunately I've heard it all before!

As you said the there are plenty of good parts, good job you bought it as a breaker or you might have been a bit displeased.
