Central Locking/Sun Roof

Hi Guys

The central locking and sun roof on my friends '87 220 turbo have stopped working. They both stopped working at the same time. I have checked all the fuses and they are fine. I did notice one common fuse but it was ok.

Do they have a common relay somewhere?

Has anyone else experienced this or can hazard a guess as to what's wrong?

Not sure of your issue but the sunroof is definitly linked to the locks as on mine when the sunroof was badly adjusted you could adjust it closed with the button but when locking the car the roof would open slightly as it locked itself.
Maybe the central locking module thinks its locked when its not?
I would try unplugging the central locking brain and see if the roof works then.
Time to trawl through the loverly workshop manual.
