2007 Champagne Weekend[/u]

A little early, I know"¦but hotels in the area get booked up EARLY.
The plan is to go over the first weekend in July, as well as touring the area, champagne house tour etc, we would spend a whole day (Sun) at the old Reims race circuit, which is being renovated by a team of individuals known as Friends of Reims Race Circuit. This particular Sunday is their annual fete (now in its third year) and has a full itinerary of stuff going on, stands, historic cars & driver processions"¦more champagne etc"¦they would love us to come and display our cars as an added attraction to their event, of which the proceeds again get used to renovate the original buildings.

We stay in a quaint, one street village amongst the vineyards, with some excellent food thrown in!

Please let me know if of interest and I will arrange to put the package/costs together, but as an indication, 2 years ago this trip costed at £166.00 per person, inclusive of ferry, 3 nights b & b, sat night gourmet dinner, champ house tour (major) and free bottle of champ per couple.
