Couriers???

Hi all, I am trying to send a full exhaust system to Tref. My usual courier Parcelforce are refusing to take it as they say the package is too long. Anyone have an idea of who will take a 6 ft long exhaust from an S2 without having an account???

I dont know which company as such but I can highly recommend using www.parcel2go.com to get your quote. Because they are basically a discount pricing agent you pay much less than the usual charges and they will give you a price from several well known 'brands' such as ups fedex parcelforce etc and lesster well known ones. I recently used DHL via therir site and had the parcel picked up from my woek and delivered for around half the DHL fee.

Also you can put the length weight etc of your parecl in their website so they will presumably only quote you for ones that will handle that parcel.

I just made up some dimentions on the site re your exhaust and got 3 quotes

Might be worth a try ?

Cheers

Mas

I'm sure I read that someone on here works for DHL (might be UPS)
They might be able to help - so who is it then?

I'll 2nd parcel2go they are just a broker but they're cheap and they'll take vitually anything I've used them for everything over the past couple of years for anything but parcels to the highlands which they don't seem to be able to cover for larger stuff.

i've used parcel2go as well but i don't think they they parcels over 6ft in size like sulzeruk says.

i sometimes use www.interparcel.com for quotes and search for couriers for large bulky parcels

Contact Simon at http://www.sendmy-parcel.co.uk/

Tell him mik from the evo forum sent you to him.

He'll sort you out (I used him to transpport my Janspeed S2 system (both when purchasing and selling), so I know it'll be fine). I'd only ask that you be sure there are people at both collection and delivery addresses at the times agreed - it costs him more if they have to revisit, so I'd prefer you didn't do that if I've recommended you. Thanks Mik, it has been a bit of an epic trying to find anyone to move it, everyone wanted me to put it on a pallet at about £100!

He wouldn't take it as the parcel is over 4 foot long. An original back section is 5 and a half foot long!

i sold a wide arch bodykit last year and also couldn't find a company to ship it 'cause it was too long. The buyer searched for large, bulky couriers but in the end i think Parcel force did it but you have to call up
