D90 wheel & tyre - sensible price

Hi All

Before my S2 found its way into Mr McNulty's hands, I had a spare front D90 wheel which is either brand new, or has been refurbed to factory standard as it is in mint condition. I was thinking of selling it, but was looking for sensible offers on price. It comes with a brand new Bridgestone Potenza SO2 tyre.

Would anyone be interested in it?

Thanks
Tim
(picture can follow, just too dark here at the moment!)

Hah, had the result of my MOT today. Failed miserably, needing one brake light replacing. Did you offer a warranty? [:D][:D]

Loving the car, it's been clear over the last year that it was well looked after during your time with it.

I've seen fairly decent sets of D90s go for over £200 for four, usually with tryes that are past their best age-wise, if not worn. New tyres are (I've just bought two) worth £75.

Sorry to hear that Paul, though I suspect Darren might be better placed to refund you on your brake light [:D]

Glad you are enjoying the car too, I do miss it but it had to go when the family expanded to more than just me and the missus. Again, Darren and Oli at RPM would be the ones looking after it, I was just responsible for handing over cash!

Thanks for the info on the wheel.

What size of front D90 wheel is it ? 7 or 7.5" ? I'm looking for a pair of good quality front D90 for my 951 to mount some decent trackday tyres on.

Chris

I should say, I'm happy to buy single wheels at a time.... But need to clarify the width before doing so.....

Chris, I am ashamed to admit that I am not sure, i suspect 7 but will check tonight when i return from work (will also get a photo done too.)

Tim, thanks for letting me know. It's only the wheel I'm interested in as the S02 Potenzas are well out of date !

What size, what type and where from?

That sounds like a very good price.

Oli.

Falkens, standard size for rears, from Blackcircles. Fitted by the same local guys in Chesham who came highly recommended by Wolfie.

Oh. £75 for a pair of tyres sounds like a very good price.

I'm sure I paid a LOT more than this last time I bought any.

Chris (and anyone that might be interested), the wheels are indeed 16x7 but have a Bridgestone Expedia S01 (which I imagine to be worse than an S02?). Also, as you will see from the photos said wheel is not particularly clean, but the dirt doesnt seem too hard to remove as I was able to uncover part code and size with a wet piece of kitchen roll.

Have attached some pictures, though apologies in advance for the multiple posts. One is a close up of what appears to be a very very small chip/mark.

I am open to offers on this, but might stick it on fleabay if there is no interest.

Tim

This is one of those moments when you wish you could ask a nice friendly mod to remove a few posts of yours ... but I don't seem to think any such plea would be effective in this case. []

There are no nice, friendly mods here. [;)]
