Hunting eBay for a blue non cracked dash - I found a few US items for dash top covers / pads - like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-944-Turbo-Dashboard-Dash-Board-Cap-Black-Cover-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2307e1e72cQQitemZ150456100652QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

and

at that price I would snap one up just to try it of nothing else.

So - that looks pretty cool and could hide my blue dash cracks nicely, two problems..: its a left hooker, and its black..

Anyone know if these are available in the UK anywhere???

There is also a guy here selling his suede version:

Must have had that made I guess.

Talking of dasboards... I have a cracked early dash I am about to skip unless anyone wants it to experminent with... it isn't the worst I have seen, but it is cracked... in a couple of places. Free if any one wants to have a go at recovering/filling/burning.

Regards,

Tref.

Ant don't know if this will help as I have the same problem as you a cracked marine blue dash. I made the mistake of buying a cobalt blue one which le me tell you really doesn't match. I have made some enquires about redying the cobalt blue one and the bloke from dynamix (google it) informs me that he does stock marine blue leather dye which will be suitable for redying a vinyl dash. The bad news is that it costs 69 quid plus whatever you can buy a dash for but as I already have a dash I am going to give it a go and will update you. Dave B
