Easy to miss the time filter option but set it to 1 year and you'll get much more back.
Two posts time block filter is so annoying why can't I post I understand you have to be wary of spybots but jeez.

Unfortunately we were subject to an attack on the forums a few years ago, and so the time limit is stuck at two minutes. It's a pain sometimes, I know, but the lesser of two evils. At least for the admin who had to deal with the problem! [&o]

yeah the search is only able to bring back 300 results it seems, any more than that and it gives you nothing. I'm assuming its something in the software of the search function and not a hardware restriction?

Sort of, but it was an automatic "spammer" programme designed to overwhelm the forum with infinite messages posted as fast as the computer could send them out. Because there is a two-minute delay, there were only a couple of hundred to delete. After that, it was upped to five minutes, that was a real problem so we went back to two. I can't see that changing, there was no positive response to my last requesting it be lowered. Sadly there are people out there who think it's fun to attack fourms, as was seen on the Tipec site last week.

I might sticky that, lol. The search is a bit clunky, in fact the whole forum platform is a bit clunky. It will be changed in time, but for now just do what most of us find easiest. Ask the question again. []
