Forum meet - resurrected!

We talked about having another get together a while back, and nothing happened. I need to satisfy my craving again, and flex my new MOT! I seem to remember the issue was location? So why don't we pick a few dates, see who can make it when, and then select a suitable date and location based upon most popular date and then geographical spread of attendees? So my suggestion would be August, given we're already into July, and I can make the 14th, 21st or 28th. So if we adopt a format we should be able to see some trends!

Copy and paste me ol' maties!

Apologies for not pushing through with the last mooted meet up, the wheels came off my personal life in a big way so I have been rather pre-occupied with other things of late but yes would certainly like to think something can be organised in August.

Well 15th is Porsche and Polo 28th is bank holiday weekend - my vote is 21st
Now question is - where?
Mike

15th August is Porsche and Polo, everyone is very welcome there. You will have to pay an extra fiver entry as a non-member but it's a great family day out. With a dog show, and some polo-ing.

I'll probably be working all the Saturdays around then but a Sunday would be possible. Alternatively you could all come and help me work. [8|]

Sunday the 22nd would get my vote. I can do just about any Sunday though if not already at an event but Saturdays are mainly kids activities swimming Taekwondo etc [;)]

Mind you it will be difficult if I dont find another Porsche in time can I just brign a Porsche coat lol

Nice idea. August 22nd would get my vote - subject to location. Where is it likely to be?

I just googled that date and found this was on http://www.miltonkeynescarshow.co.uk/. Haven't been before so haven't the foggiest what it's like, but could be a suitable meeting point as it looks like a pretty large field and if booked in advance it's not expensive. I know it's not quite what we've done in the past, but thought it might be a possibility(and probably quite good to bring other family members to, given there seems to be other things to do).

Wherever you guys end up it will be too far south for me (can only afford so many trips down the country in one year!) so please just assume that I'm with you in spirit. Hope it comes together smoothly this time around.

I nearly went last year, I think its a good possibility - will have a burger van!

I'd love to come, but looking at the state of my weekends for the coming few months I'm going to have to cry off. (Unless you all want to meet at my house, one morning before work!)

Have a good time, whatever happens.

Oli.
