Front lower ball joint?

Hello Chaps,

There was an advisory on the MoT just done to say that the os/f lower ball joint needed replacing.

I remeber this being a bit of a sod to sort out due to the fact that you had to replace the whole lower wishbone.

I also remember there being a firm who did a sort of exchange repacement scheme (they may have been in Scotland).

What is the collective "wisdom" on this these days?

Hi Robbie - long time...

I believe it is Hartech - in Bolton.
They do an exchange lower wishbone with a nice new balljoint fitted.

Hartech, as Mark says. The Scottish company were David Gilmour (not the same one as the guy who occasionally appears with Pink Floyd, I'd guess), but I've not heard anyone use them for a while?
