Handbrake mech lubrication

Just cleaned up the handbrake mech on the S2, nothing wrong with it other than being all gummed up, all springs in good order etc. The question is, for the moving parts, which is better for this application - grease, or copperslip?
I reckon that copperslip is usually better for higher temperature applications... which it could be argued this lot is very close to the discs, but, grease doesn't tend to "gum up" as much as copperslip does, especially with brake dust around...
What is the concensus?

Which bit of the mechanism? The bit that usually gums up the most is the cables.

If everything is clean, I'd probably just put normal grease on. Coppaslip is good for HT applications, but - as you said - attracts crud.

Oli.

Yep, I settled for grease, sparingly applied to the lever mech pivots etc on the bottom, the springs, and thread of the adjuster. Copperslip between the edge of the shoes and the aluminium backing plate/hub thingy, and between adjuster and shoes... I spent far too long thinking about it!

One other thing I noticed, which seems very un-Porsche, is the rear caliper mount... Aluminium caliper, aluminium caliper mount, steel spacer between??? now coated in copperslip, but why??? Why not make the spacer out of aluminium too? just think of the grams of unsprung weight to be saved, and eliminating electrolytic corrosion too!!!
