Well it's finally happened. Last night our good old S2 finally passed the 200,000 mile mark [:)]

It was back in 1999 that we saw her go past 100,000 miles and it's taken another 11 years to get here. She's now due her yearly service and this year will be the 4th belt change and 3rd camchain change in our ownership yet in all that time we've never had to spring for a clutch. It's bound to happen soon, but we're ready for it.

I just wish she had past the 200k mark somewhere more interesting than southbound on the M1 coming back from Sheffield :ROFLMAO:

Roll on 300,000

Congratulations. Just goes on to show how bullet proof an S2 will be if well taken care of! [:)]

At first, I thought from the title of the thread that Paul had managed to get his turbo to exceed 200mph!

Still, 200,000 miles in an S2 is a milestone. Well done!

I was kindly allowed a quick drive in the Birthday girl at the winter meet and she still pulls like a train!Well done, like has been said roll on 300,000[:)]!!!

Great to know what its more than possible, especially when I only have 35k to go!!

Top stuff as you say roll on the next 100k [:D]

200K. Good show. Many cars arrive at the Big Motorway In The Sky with less than half that showing on the clocks ...

(My S2 is just about to cross the 160k mark. A mere whippersnapper - just like me! [:)] )
