The Hybrid 400v battery is used to start the engine and can only be charged during normal road use (recuperation etc) or by a Porsche Centre using special equipment. What happens if it becomes depleted and has insufficient charge to start the engine, can the engine be started using a booster or with jump leads?

Clive,
This was posted on pff.de in the "992.2.- Wann commit das Facelift?" thread.
"The interaction of E-Boost and recuperation takes place automatically in each driving mode. It cannot be actively influenced."
I don't know whether this chimes with your info from the launch but it seems to have a couple of maintenance wrinkles.
The speculation on the 992.2 GT3RS is that it will use the same hybrid technology since the 992.1 version has maxed aero at the cost of outright speed and needs more HP to compete with Mercs and Ferrari performance in showroom stats and GT3 category racing.

The last (partially obscured) line reads as follows:"The interaction of E-Boost and recuperation takes place automatically in each driving mode. It cannot be actively influenced."

Certainly some further understanding is required and itāll be interesting to see the ownersā manual
