So been a big decision but I’ve decided what colour I’m going to paint my car
but before I reveal what would you do

shell stripped to bare metal -all rust repairs done - not worried about originality -but has to be Porsche colour pre 1991

what would you choose:eek:

Maraschino red, with sunroof delete. Or possibly Nile green.

We think alike - I’ve been debating doing a DIY sunroof delete and Nile Green is my favourite 944 colour -not what I’m going for but very close

Get the sunroof deleted! I like Nile green as well and Maraschino red, don't see many 944's in either.

I’m going Darker than Nile green
Brewster Green with black and gold Fuch alloys

Despite liking green, due to it's reputation for being unlucky I wouldn't actually paint my car that colour. Zyclam or Arena red are others I like. Or this looks quite nice.

I think if you have an x box and Forza you can model it in all the colours you like - having crashed a BRG car I would probably not go for another green car myself, but Nile was very rare and suited them. I always liked Maraschino and might look good with some additional pearl. I Would be tempted by Mclaren deep purple or the MP4-12c orange.

One of the Triumph Stags I had years ago was a lovely shade of dark blue. Someone pulled out of a pub car park and T boned it, it was evident that it had originally been green.

Unlucky even after the colour change - maybe it needed a ceremony like a boat renaming! 🤣
