Hi guys.... well what a surprising day, and before I knew all about these handling reports. I have had up to £60k to spend on a Porsche for some time and have been setting my sights on a 996 Turbo... Went to Porsche Reading today for a test drive. Turbo Tip, no manuals interesting drive, but was missing the smile factor at the end of the test drive, reminded me a liitle of a Merc C43 I had for a while, big express train, I kept it for 6 months and was trying to sell on after 3! Anyway.... went for a spin in a Cayman.... big smile later I walked out of the dealership with the Cayman ooklets to start selecting my options.... what a cracking car (currently in a chipped Audi TT with 265BHP) I guess if felt like it could do with another 50BHP but that was probably having ust stepped out of the Turbo!
So...... Please can I have your thoughts on must have options and options you think were not worth getting..... want to order within the next week.....
Looking forward to your replies
PS I think those Turbo drivers are missing out.... BIG TIME!!
