Nice (different) S2

Some nice touches and the sill trims look nice too. Hate the smoked lights though. Boxster mirrors are the new teardrop mirrors I think!

Door handles and sill trims work well imho - However the smoked lights are less pleasing to my eye and the LED indicator side repeaters are [:'(]

Agreed. Clear front and rear indicators and some flush side repeaters in the mirror arms would be soooooooooo much better!

As much as I like the old spoiler on the S2 (on an original car) I think it looks rubbish on that S2, why do all that work and leave the old style spoiler, would have been much better with a bridge spoiler, and those mirrors? Where did they come from? They look way too big... Hate the smoked lights too..

Can never please everyone I guess...

Exactly what I thought. Really like the handles, I don't like the 968 option myself. Side repeaters are awful.

Besides the repeaters and front lights I think that looks really tasty. 959 style sills suit the car surprisingly well too! Top marks for that one I think. Looks a really nicely done modification.

Pity he wasted on that time and money on the wrong model[;)]

Think I'm with most people in that I think the door handles are an excellent upgrade as are the sills, also agree that the smoked lights would look so much better clear and the 968 brige spoiler and mirrors would look better, those ones look like spaniels ears on that car!!!

Oh and I like the idea of recessed side repeaters rather than those LED things, but overall a very tasteful update

Not for me, the longevity of any filler-based work is completely hit or miss. It also leaves the car aesthetically unbalanced and incohesive IMO.

Sills are maybe a DP kit that has been fully blended in? Problem then is how long it will last before you get the inevitable creaking/cracking filler? Looks fantastic though and must have cost a fair old wedge but personally I prefer 68 mirrors against all the other designs. Wings look much cleaner without the normal repeaters.

Thumbs up from me overall I think.

"thousands spent" but can't be bothered to replace the worn gear knob or abs sensor [8|] Tells you all you need to know I think....

18" wheels are just too big, look all wrong. Would look nice with cup1's or 2's

I think he's tried to modernise it too much in some cases. I would agree with the majority and lose the smoked lenses (totally wrong colour), the mirrors, while a brave attempt, just look wrong and not sure about the exhaust as it's a small picture. I do like the rockers/sills and think the 18's look fine. Leaving the guard flush without the little X-mas lights would have looked better.
Btw, what does he mean regarding FRP wings? Is he referring to the mirrors?

I think fibreglass (fibre reinforced plastic) or GRP which I think they must be looking at the side repeaters, they probably don't really stand out in the flesh as pretty discreet, the close up to show they are there doesn't do them any favours and I a repeater is probably an MOT (annual test) requirement though I think Peter gets by without them with a Lux front,

Fantastic custom I 944 reckon. A far better effort than some of the "Fastcars" out there gracing our city streets.

Mirrors do look a little large (just like the flags IMO) but I could live with them. I wonder if something a little more discreet but in the same position would look better. Agree about the spoiler comments, a nice bridge spoiler would set the rear end off nicely. Overall a tasty treat.
