On the scale of rust...

..how bad is this? Photo taken from inside the vent in the drivers door aperture...

Hard to tell as the pic is so small.... Throw some anti rust stuff at it anyway! Dinotrol or Waxoyl. I used Dynax S50 or something like that earlier in the year
 
Whatever you put in the sills, try and find something which doesn't smell too much. The sills form part of an air passage through the front doors and out near the rear hatch. I did my sills with waxoil last year and the car stunk of the stuff for months. Never used anything else but if Dinitrol is less pungent then it'd be worth a go.
 
I don't think it looks too bad yet. When the inner sill rot gets really bad it can spread all the way through to the suspension mounts. Looks to me like that could be repaired relatively cheaply and probably best to get it done before it gets too bad, at least if its tackled early there is plenty of good metal to weld to.
