Dear all,

I own a 997.1 Turbo and I'm looking for a way to install a hardwired hands-free Bluetooth phone connection. While the PCCM+ unit looks great, I can't justify spending £1,800 on it. I've heard about the Dension Gateway 500S, which costs around £550 including installation. Does anyone have experience with this device, or are there better alternatives I should consider?

Many thanks,

Jella

Have fitted a Mr12Volt personally and yes, similar to the dension as malarkey says, at less than half the price to boot; both feature MOST fiber optic cabling. Absolutely fine bluetooth capability for receiving and making hands free calls. You site the mic in exactly the same spot as the original Porsche one would go, the fascia of the head unit is unchanged and you can use its buttons to change music tracks on your phone so all is well in the world ;).
