Rolling chassis for sale (perfect for track car)

Due to a shocking (-ly good) and unlikely turn of events this weekend. I will very shortly be the owner of a very well known 944t and in the circumstances will have no need of my current 944 project as it would be pointless to waste further money and time on building another car when I have a car that's as perfectly tuned as I could ever wish for.

My project shell though is far too good a shell to just break or scrap, 3 owners from new (big wad of history and lots of stamps in service book), cat 1 alarm and immobiliser still installed, all the electrics worked (even the rear wiper) and I've just spent the better part of £5k making a very solid shell. The only rust left to do is on the bottoms of the front wings as this was deemed easy enough to be done when the car was sprayed. The car would make a perfect shell for someone and I only want very modest money for it. It's an 86 shell on turbo teledials as seen in my profile pic.

Yours for £900 full of bits but minus engine. (could supply all the parts needed to build a good engine for another £700 if you wanted?)

If no interest I'll build it up and then sell as a finished road car but price is set to tempt because its a lot of hassle I'd really rather do without!

ooh yes I forgot my number is 07791 297773 [:D]

Pauly, no! In posting on the other thread about engine tuning this popped up in my mind too! Mmmm, the wife is just about to start back at work as well.....the planets are almost in perfect alignment!

As above, where abouts are you based? Cut my sills open whilst waiting for parts to sort mine and the drivers side inner sill is shot ( amongst other parts), so a re-shell might be a better Idea.

Must put the grinder down.

James email sent. Car is currently in dry storage at Hartech in Bolton (near manchester).

I will spill the beans on my car baby as soon as I pick it up later this week (man am I excited) [:)][:D][:)] if the current owner is reading this you made a good decision. She's going to a good home and this really is the perfect 944 for me to keep[:)][:)][:)]

Can't wait for this![:D]

That makes two of us. It's just having a fresh MOT put on it but I'm itching to pick it up! Only clue I'm giving is that you wont find two of them and it's not my old 3.2.

just cut open outer sills on my 86 944 turbo and it's bad, really bad!
By your description your shell is solid, have you any pictures?
I'm thinking re-shell as it looks terminal and i work in a bodyshop!
