Satnav & windows dropping

Just returned froma trip to Brittany over the new year.
Satnav is quite amusing in France. It lists 9 different St Malo towns and villages but not one of them is the city with ferry port on the North Coast!
Navigating through small towns is quirky; it takes you into the main square then out again. I was left with the distinct impression that the data was taken from the information gleaned in the early 1940s when various Wehrmacht Officers had listed all the houses of ill repute in each and every possible location and that before you could leave town, you had to stop by for a few moments with FiFi.
The data itself is now quite out of date - the A34 junction with the M4 is as it was in 2004 and not as it is now.
Windows dropped again - both sets of keys on the table, nowhere near a pocket.....and it was a rainy night!
