I only get motivated like this once a year and put on AutoGlym Pain Renovator, Super Resin Polish & a top coat of Farecla Liquid Wax. All together about six hours of fun, the results were that good I decided to share:

Fantastic job. That must be by far the latest Lux I've ever seen with the toast-rack fitted, it suits the rear of the car so well. What would it look like with twin exhausts? [8D]

Your car should be entered in the concourse events, it's a shame to put in that much effort and not show it off.

Spent ages trying to find a spot you'd missed so I could take the mickey, but failed miserably

Superb job [8D][8D][8D]

Thank you very much for the kind words guys, twin exhausts would look very cool however the single Dansk S/Steel box I got makes an awesome noise, even putting my mates Testarossa to shame :) Apart from the exhaust and radio the car is a 100% original, complete '89 oval dash 2.7 model and everything works!

Would love to come to a meeting or show but I'm not a club member (only forum member at the moment)

If you know of any upcoming meetings in Worcestershire/Shropshire/West Midlands or close by, please let me know. I'll give her another coat and turn up :)

When I first got it I had to sort out some minor bits, fortunately I could get all the parts direct from the main dealer (Solihull) and they give you 10% discount as it's a classic :) The only thing letting it down is the rear wiper blade arm, its just faded over the years. That's the only thing they can't get hold of for me. My question is:
Is it the same as the 968 one? If not would the 968 one fit anyway?

Thinkk the 968 arm will fit, but unles the original is rusting I'd just remove it and spray it!
Your Porscheclub region is Region 13, they meet last Tuesday of the month at The Bowling Green Inn - but I dont know which town!
You can call John Lord on 01905 620687, he is the organiser.
Also watch out on here for other things going on.

It's probably illegal to be as shiny as that - dazzling other road users[8D] Looks amazing. What did you use on the spoiler and bumper rubber strip, it's come-up a real rich black?

I resprayed my spoiler with black Flexible Vinyl spray paint, used Back to Black and finished it with Autoglym High Gloss Finish but it doesn't look anywhere near as good as the result in your photo (please dont tell me its Peanut Butter - ref other posts on the subject). Although, it is much better than it was.

Splendid. I searched hard to find something to crticise (it's in my nature [:D]) and all I can come up with is the font on the rear number plate.

Hehe, all the plastics and rubbers were treated with AutoGlym Vinyl & Rubber Care. I apply it on a cloth and work it in once, allow to soak in, then for the second time, and then wipe it until it stops to shine and end up with a nice beep black finish [:D]
I also don't like these number plates, it's something the previous owner put on. They will soon be replaced with pressed metal ones. Still UK road legal font and spacing, it's just that I'm not a fan of acrylic plates so they got to go [:)]
