Hey guy.

I am a new Porsche 944 owner. Mines the oval dash 1986 2.5 8v edition with the burgundy red interior.
I am really happy with my car, and had just sent it into my mechanic to get the wheels aligned after having new tired put. When I went down to pick up the car I found two small burn marks on my drivers seat fabric and on the carpet of the car.
I think every one here can understand how angry I got. So right now I am trying to source the fabric insert for the drivers seat its burgundy red and has Porsche written on the fabric too. I will be uploading some pics tomorrow.

But what I am wondering if any one has any idea where I can source the leather for the interior and fabric for the seat inserts.

Thanks for all your help guys

Hey thanks.

Yeah I am currently trying to source a new seat for the drivers side. I am also considering getting the whole fabric inserts reupholstered in leather. Although I want to keep the car as stock as possible [:(]

Hopefully some thing will turn up.

thanks again

I would try your local OPC, what you need is "Burgundy Porsche Script Cloth" there may be some kicking around at Reading or in Germany.

There could be, but its unlikely. I had two square metres which reckoned to be the last black script fabric that PCGB/AF had: and that was fourteen years ago.....

Hey thanks to every one for their help.

I am trying currently to source a seat from a friend in the middle east if he can locate me one.

Also I am about to email wrek924, apparently they do reprints of fabric for the 924, and from what I found on the store site they do what I am currently looking for.

Thanks again to every one.

Let us know how you get on, they look like a real find if the service and product is up to scratch. Not too expensive, by the look of things, either.

Well guys I got a quote for the Porsche script fabric.[&:][:(]

I am gonna have to pay 269 euros plus 30 euros to fix some bricks screw up. []

But what can you do, when you want to keep the car as mint and original as possible.

I'm hoping still to be able to source and original drivers seat base to use instead.

Any ways again thanks for all your help.

cheers.
