The nightmare we never think about

If only it had a nice sounding engine though, great little sports car spoiled by using a bogo ford/mazda group saloon car engine.

If you want to improve that, have a look here

I work with the guy who owns that particular vehicle, and carries out all the work himself.
And you thought modding a 944 turbo could get expensive [:D]

Its a shame they didn't do a special with that MIVAC V6 thing, wouldn't have made huge power but the sound and manic revs would have suited the car perfectly.

Back on the brake topic I can't imagine what could have caused such a sudden failure without warning, very scary to think it might have been a piston seal or cylinder seal.

Cheers for the advice Peanut, we both really like the look of Petherton. I think my mate Paul's family got out of baking altogether, he used to tell me they had a bakers in Crewkerne. Very small world down here. The MX5 is a dark blue metallic colour, I like it more than Steph but she prefers the 968. If only it had a nice sounding engine though, great little sports car spoiled by using a bogo ford/mazda group saloon car engine.

Petherton is great. It really is a buzzing little place.

I went there today to get my tax disk at the PO and it was heaving. Apparently my friend Paul from Hinton St George also went there to shop but didn't get out of his car and drove straight home. [:D]

There was a white 944S in Lopen today an E reg ? first time I've seen it . Hopefully a permanent feature.

Car performed perfectly normally today. I checked the master cyclinder and everywhere underneath. Mrs Peanut point blank refused to drive it this morning after hearing my story yesterday. I may never get her into the thing again.
