i need 2 new rear tyres for my 997 c2s. could anyone recommend a tyre supplier/fitter in the cardiff area

Hi Peter. I would give Windway Tyres a go (North Clive Street CARDIFF, South Glamorgan, CF11 6NR) 02920 396162 - ask for Lee, he used to work for OPC Cardiff when they were Merlin (I think). I went to him for four wheel alignment earlier this year (£70) and it all seemed like a good set-up to me. I'm going to be needing a new set of rear tyres myself soon and will definitely be giving them a call.
I'm hoping to change from my MY 2003 996 C2 to a 997 C2S soon; how have you got on with yours so far? Have you ever owned a 996 and if so, how do they compare? Thinking of going for a darker colour this time, I currently have Seal Grey but will go for either Slate Grey, Atlas or Balsic(?) Black so I can see the results of all my hard work polishing!
Best of luck with the tyres, let me know how you get on. Adrian (Swansea)

i contacted opc cardiff for quote £300+. checked on line, and found that national tyres offer good deals. ordered new pirellis at less that web quoted price

the 997c2s is brilliant. previously owned 964 c4. was contemplating 996 c4s before deciding on 997. primary reasons being looks, and improved quality over 996.

i went for cobalt blue, which i am extremely chuffed about. no other colour for me
