After the recent rush of Red 997's got me wondering, what colour have your ordered/going to order on your 991?

I wanted to see if its more of the crimson tide or if some of the funky 70s colours are going to get a look in.

So what colour have your ordered/are ordering?

Agate Grey (1st choice) or Basalt Black (2nd choice) for me!!

I know, boring, boring....

Rosso Red.....

wohoo[:D][:D]

Personally I thought I'd go for something different....Racing Yellow or Agate or Anhracite Brown

but then I thought Guards Red again[][]

Agate Grey looks lovelly but will be specced by loads of people

So I have it down to one of three

Speed Yellow
Aqua Blue
Ruby Metalic

I think Ruby Metalic is winning at the moment[:D]

Well it certainly wouldn't be the "Cognac Mettallic" for me....I know this car will go like s**t but no reason to paint it accordingly [&:]

"Remy" metallic might have endeared it more in the minds of 997 owners! [;)]

Clive.

Thought for a moment that was "runny metalic"................

It seems the launch colour on the Porsche web site is Aqua Blue. I can only concur with this great choice:

The Aqua Blue works for me, needs the bright trim around the windows like in one of the YouTube trailers - but if I got one I'll probably be a cabrio, which will probably mess my trim idea up.

according to my dealer the launch colour on the Porsche website is Dark Blue not Aqua. Can anyone confirm this?

The perils of judging colour on a computer screen []. I think your dealer is right and it is Dark Blue metallic. But if you look at the Aqua on the configurator it is nothing like Bob's car either and the Dark Blue looks almost black. At least that's what it looks like on my Apple all singing monitor.

Looking forward to seeing the new colours in the flesh, but will probably still stick with Guards Red.

Hi Russell
I know of a December build slot if anyone is interested, but the cabrio won't be out till the summer. There is a definite choke on supplies to the UK (due to the exchange rate) so a walk in customer might struggle to get a car for April atm.
