I love the fact that in that one post it would seem that we now know more about this car than the vendor!

That's exactly why I've spent so much of my life building and maintaining this forum. We've got here the greatest pool of knowledge about the cars, and that can only be a very good thing.

Looking at the underside of my sills with the car in the air at the body shop there is a square protrusion about an inch deep towards the rear of the sill. About the same size as the jacking point. It looks like a drain point but is it?
Could it come off?
Yes, each is fixed with a screw and nut. When they come off easily it means there isn't yet too much rust in there.
