Guys,
In middle of changing clutch anyone know what torque the flywheel bolts need to be and also clutch bolts?
Cheers
Sandy

Since no-one else has replied, the Haynes book of lies says Flywheel to Crankshaft bolts are 66ft-lbs or 90Nm, and clutch pressure plate bolt is 18ft-lbs or 24Nm.

Tref.

It was four paces to the bookshelf, but you wouldn't believe how deeply buried in my hard-drive those manuals are...

Do they include the technical suplements, like the revissions for the oil-cooler?

Cheers guys had a look at the manual,

Only other question is how are you meant to install rear main oil seal. Manual refers to special tool 9126. I do not have this, I take it I just gently tap it home with a block of wood and hammer til it sits flat?

I'm not sure how you install the rear main seal, however....

Based on recent experience, the notch which you use to lever the old seal out only goes so far in. If you don't install the seal far enough into the recess it WILL leak as proved with my engine !

I think you'll find that the special tool will readily be replaced by a suitable size socket !
