So a while back my 997.1 C2S suffered a major engine failure. So I decided document the journey I had trying to get it back in the road.

I've been following you on YT, quite interesting. Are you a mechanic?
My Dad was, I used to help out during school holidays for some pocket money. Though I did do engineering at collage and was a toolmaker for 18 months before I gave it all up to do IT. Found the mechanical stuff isn't as much fun if you do it for a living.
Very interesting, you do seem very skilled / capable in this area. I'm a basic home mechanic but I've found patience (and time) is my biggest enemy 
When I retire I plan to do a few restos on non Porsche cars, i.e. cheaper cars, for fun but ultimately I'd like to get the skills to do Porsche track focussed car for myself.
Good luck and keep up the vids. Incidentally have you seen "Man in a small garage". He's a Scot living in the States and takes on a 996 rebuild in his tiny garage.
