Hey Boxster owners,

Would love to know how many active Boxster members we have across our regions. When I say active, I mean active with the club and attending drives and meets. Picture of my 981 included.
In the comments can you state yes/no and what region you are in as I cannot do a poll on here.

Thanks, Matt

I'm in R13.
Over the 6 years of owning my 987.2 never been to a Porsche event in it.
I'm lucky to also have a 1973 911 and once or twice go to Club/regional events over recent years.

I'm not really the type for such events, but that is just me, though this year did organise a R13 run to a hillclimb event which was well supported.

Yes

R25 - 2nd boxster 987.2

As per profile pic - but to join in the fun - taken on an event organised by an R25 member ( but not a PCGB event ) - but driving a route recommended by the R8 team .

Have been to several events this year, region and register and national.

Hi Matt,
I’m in R10 & joined R31.
Following both, however not attended any drives yet. Did go to OPC high Wycombe opening and recent Silverstone event; found both to be very cliquey so unlikely to attend anymore. Thinking about attending a Boxster event and hoping more friendly.
Pic of my Boxster…..

Hi.
Can I just say that this is nothing to do with the official Boxster Register run by Tracy Wilkins.
I would like to make it clear that the official Register Secretary has access to the Boxster members data base and therefore knows in what region members are based.

Cliff. I'm not sure how relevant this comment is to my question on asking members if they are active in drives and meets or not.

That's a shame and thanks for sharing that feedback. I can assure you that Boxster events are very friendly and members are always welcoming. Hope to see you at an event soon.

Very relavant I would have thought a pointless question to be honest why a member would be asking such questions of people's location and how active they are surely it's one for Regions rather than Registers
As said the Boxster register doesn't need to know as we already know Boxster members regions and their activities within the Register.

Hi.
Great looking car .
Keep your eyes peeled for Mail Chimps from the Boxster register for events & breakfasts meets .
Always found the Boxster members to be a friendly bunch. Sorry to hear not a great experience on your recent events it can take time to integrate, but with a little time and patience you will find a region that suits you and make friends we have made many over the years.
We are looking into a calendar for all things Boxster next year but a region can be your best friend but can be less active in the winter months.
Tracy always tries to make a point of chatting and welcoming new members and regular long standing members which I am sure can vouch for this at Boxster events .
If you send Tracy a photo of your car she will endevour to include it into a future Porsche post .

Cliff. Happy to take this offline and reply
