Good body shop Sussex

Hi all,

I have a 993 which has the usual problem of rust around the windscreen. I had this repaired a few years ago but it has returned and I would like to get it properly sorted.
Can anyone recommend a good body shop to do this work? I have asked in the trade but they said that most body shops do replacement work rather than treating rusty areas so good ones for this are few and far between.

I also live in Sussex and recently did some bodyshop research. This is what I found...
  • - SL Restoration, Crawley (local Porsche approved bodyshop)
  • - Impact Bodywork, Bluebell Railway (long established and seem affiliated with Precision Porsche)
  • - Parr Porsche, Crawley (outsource bodywork to a third-party so you pay extra for transportation)
  • - Concorso Restorations, Billingshurst (seem knowledgable and reasonably priced but limited references online)
I haven't used any of them as yet and wasn't looking for rust repairs, but thought I'd share in case my shortlist helps.

Thanks for that. I have heard very good things about Precision so am planning a visit to them. Have dealt with Parr in the past and it was a mixed experience so not inclined to go back.

I’ve had a quote from Parr for ceramic coating. Do you mind disclosing what they did (or didn’t do) that put you off?
