Another car club (VCVC) of which I am a member has potential prime space at the Alexandra Palace Classic Car Show, on Sat 31 Oct 2015.
I thought it might be an opportunity to visit and show you car off as well, so...

The VCVC have been offered the following for Saturday 30th October:
*VIP Parking right by the event at the top of the hill at Alexandra Palace.
*Reduced entry fee of £18 per adult (reduced from £23).

So, different venue and could be good. Have not been to this for a few years now, but it was a reasonable show when I last visited.
Our numbers (probably limited) will be decided by response, so tell me if you are interested - on this thread, please [;)]

Paul, Andy,

Subject to new rostering & rest days from 6th Sept, would be interested to, as this is where I spent much of my 'youth'......

Lived locally & drove the good old London Bus......

Will let you know asap[:)]

Would be good to hear from you soon on this, kasspa - glad you’d like to come too.

I’ll have to liaise with the car club soon, to check availability etc, so can you all confirm or otherwise, please... (Roy as well?).

Hi Paul,

I would be interested in this if you don't mind me joining.

Would a 996 Turbo be acceptable for the club/organisers ?

Thanks

Sure, Spyros - would be good to have you along.

I am going to liaise with my contact again soon and post the situation soon.

Great Paul, thx

Well, unfortunately the person who I was dealing with on this has had to cancel our preferential position (due to general lack of interest, apparently - not us[;)]).

Therefore, we will not be attending (as a group) after all.

Apologies to those who showed an interest...

Glad I didn't put in for annual leave.....

It doesn't stop us from attending I guess but if there is no guaranteed (secure) parking facilities on site then probably best to try again next year.....
