‘Tame’ dealers for warranty renewal

Does anyone have any experience of dealers who will turn a blind eye to certain non-standard items during the 111 point check prior to warranty renewal? I’m thinking tyres specifically?

I know of a dealer who wasn't concerned by Zunsport grilles but haven’t seen or heard any concrete evidence of anything more controversial than that.

Cheers, Liam

The 111 point check is no longer required if an extended warranty on the car is still in place. you just need to call up and ask to extend, provided the service history is up to date. you might need to send in a picture of the v5 as well.

The process changed around 3 weeks ago as I have just gone through this process myself!

when I asked, they said that they have stopped doing it... although this might be something you can get done at a dealer level?

Is the paperwork you get the same a the paperwork before they withdrew the 111 point check, specifically the "What is not covered" section?
