02 C2 24k Service (Northway Reading?)

Due to being quoted £4 - £500 for the service with supplying own oil, I am thinking of taking the car to Northway Reading for £260 including oil with genuine parts.

Anyone had any experience with them - heard only good reports so far

Don't know Northway. But, surely the real question is whether it is worth saving £200 to lose the 'Full OPC Service History' on a two year old £50k car?

Assuming your warranty has recently expired I'd stick with the supplying OPC in case you have a future 'goodwill' claim.

There are no guarantees but, for such a new car, it might be wise to use the OPC.

I would stick with Porsche to aid resale value.

Also do Northway have the the diagnostic computer and are they changing the brake fluid which is due at 24k.

Had my 24k on 2002 car in May at a cost of £450-00 plus vat, with them doing fluid and supplying oil. Also had a Cayenne for a day while it was in FOC.

Just for reference I have used Northways on several occasions and always found them to be extremely good and helpful. I would agree that on a nearly new car the "Official Stamp" is a must but I'll certainly be taking my 996 back to Northways in a year or so. I would always use them for fitting accessories etc. Just had a Porsche Tequipment exhaust fitted for £500 (incl the exhaust!) OPC wanted 1200. They also have all of the Diagnostic computers and are ex OPC guys.
