111-Point Test

My 991.1’s warranty is up in December. I was under the impression that OPCs don’t charge for the test if you go ahead and purchase the 2-yr warranty. Has this been the case with anyone please or is it just wishful thinking?!

I wasn’t charged for 111 pt check when I had the appropriate service done at the OPC and the warranty was extended at the same time
I seem to recall the total was around £3k
i don’t know if they’d not charge for 111 if you don’t have a service as well

The OPC's usually charge, 300.00 from memory. Of course service is not due at 3 years but MOT is so as i extended for 2 years i negotiated it down to
200.00.

Porches Centres do not have a common approach to 111 point check pricing. Some will do it for free if you are having the car serviced at the same time, some will discount it by 50% if you are having a service and others will not discount the fee at all. The standard fee was £185 (plus VAT I think) last time i checked.

They also don’t have a common approach to service costs! I phoned three OPCs when my 991 was due it’s major service in April for a price. The best price was £300 cheaper and completed the 111 check for free.

That's my understanding.
Should be no charge if it is being serviced, as they duplicate much of the work.
