Are there any spaces free? Is it open to anyone with a Porsche? Spose I need to join too?
cheers
YES! Open to all. Drop us an email at r20@porscheclubgb.com so I can put you on the mailing list for reminders, meet points on the day, route in France, etc... I am afraid it might be too late to get me a cheque for the group buy Eurotunnel discount but you can get the ticket directly, the train times details are in the following thread:

Tested the front spoiler last night . . . . . all I'll say [8|] is it must work because it was solid as a rock !

Result! Crazy what a tiny bit of plastic can do eh![8D]

Thinking about it, I'm not sure it was the front lip spoiler that helped 'that' much... I recon it was just me not being used to the engine being in another postcode to the rest of the car.
Having driven nothing but front engined cars, having the engine way out back means the front behaves rather 'differently' to any other car I've driven. I'm now much more used to how the front tends to react when driving over uneven road surfaces... it's more like a speedboat, the rear is bolted to the tarmac (putting down all 320bhp) and the front is just used to point the way... boncing away if things get rough.
At speed and on smooth tarmac the car is a fantastic thing to be driving, when the roads are all over the place, the 'characture' comes out (which is not a bad thing and makes the car more involving to drive, unlike my steralised Audi S4)

Cool - hope to see you there. If there are more 996 C2 Aero-Kitted up cars feel free to collar me. Cant imagine there are going to be many British Racing Gold (Mirage) 996's there!
Did you go? I was there from 9 to 11 and I never saw you ?
Got there after 12pm, sorry I missed you. Were there many Porsche's there?
Was the only Porka there - when I got there it was like a Ferrari & Lambo convention. Noticed a fair bit of rust on the Italian's and was thinking "wouldnt get that on a Porsche!"
Anyway, will try and get back to Ace for the last Wednesday Porsche meet - never been to one of those before.
Cheers,
Rob
