GTP was a Club Sport Racing series, supported by the factory. Different classes, from beginners to semi-pros or even pros sharing a car with a paydriver, tracks like Nürburgring, Hockenheim, Spa, Dijon,... it was great fun!

GTP died last year, the factory withdrew years ago.

Many cars of the 90s have these stickers because so many were raced in GTP.
GTP means "Grand Tourisme Porsche" Weekend. Later, after the factory had left, some organizers tried to carry on - then GTP meant "Gran Turismo Powerspeed".

As long as the factory was part of the game - great. After that - agony.

So keep the sticker, it´s part of the history.

Hope that helps,

regards,

Hacki

It does help, thanks.

had the car 7 years and for some reason I never felt the need to strip them off even though I hadn't a clue what it stood for.
