Good to see you today Erica, we're up for this as long as the pub is as good as you say it is [;)]

Hello, I’m looking to reschedule the Strines run to 3 Acres pub to 15 August as I am hoping more people will be around and free.

Update: Now looking to start at Fairholmes Car Park, Ladybower reservoir, Bamford Hope Valley S33 0AQ - at 11.00am, and we can run Strines on the way there and Woodhead and Snake on the way back. Do I need to provide a map/directions for anyone - or are we happy to convoy? Can you please pm me if so and I'll sort and send it by email (please include your email on the pm).

I've also booked a table in the teepee for lunch at 12.30 - for 6 at the moment (just guesswork on numbers?).... its a woodfire pizza place, rather than a "classic" 3 course menu in the pub at £37 each! Please feel free to contact the pub if you'd prefer the classic lunch...01484 602606.

I don’t mind if you want to invite non-cayman, the more the merrier. And feel free to post onto other regions…

Hope to see a number of you there.
Erica

Hi Erica,

We would usually have loved to join you for the drive but I‘m afraid that we are already have other commitments that weekend.

Hopefully we’ll be able to join you next time.

I’m ok for this up to now Erica but looked at my work calendar last night and I’m on standby with work.

If I don’t get called in I’ll be up for it.

Dan.

All being well I'm up for this. (assuming I haven't destroyed my tyres at Silverstone the week before [:D])

You should have bought those spare wheels and tyres that were for sale on here matey!

In case you haven’t seen it R7 are running the Summer Drive from Porsche Sheffield to Holmfirth and then around the Peak District. Sunday 18th and Wednesday 21st July.

Details on the R7 Yorkshire Forum

Hey Graham, are on on the OPC Sheffield drive on the 18th? I'll join you for that if there's still space (actually bought my car from them).

Having been on the July run with R7, I'm inspired to make it a circular and add in Woodhead Pass and Snake Pass to bring you all back to Ladybower reservoir - so making the pub a half way point for lunch... If you want to "drop out" at any point on the way home you can...

Any more takers?

Erica

Hi Erica.

Sorry, I will not be able to make this one as it clashes with the show at Duxford. Thank you so much for the work you do setting these runs up.

OliR, bring your R7 notes with you as we'll be covering some of the same route going back....

Erica

Just realised I forgot to post here yesterday that I won't be able to make it - apologies. We were at Silverstone yesterday to watch the Club racing and decided at the last minute to stay over down here.

Hope you have a good run and the weather's decent!

Erica

Many thanks for organising the drive today. Just a two car run but good, and a great meal and chat at the Three Acres.

Hope you had a safe drive back home.

Chris and Delia

It was a good run with Delia and Chris - their knowledge of the back roads round that section of Yorkshire is phenomenal[:)]...and the weather was lovely and not too much traffic.

Food was good too...

There'll be a next time for those that couldn't attend....if you'd like to drop me some dates maybe we could do it again?

Erica

Erica, sincere apologies, I forgot all about this, as I spent Sunday preparing for a job interview.
