I seen a GPS speed of 163mph on my C4 on more than one occasion.
Speedo indicated 175mph, and I believe it still had a bit more but my bottle and road run out.
Revs, from memory, were at 6100rpm.

hi thanks Rob for replying ,do you have fairly new suspentions did it feel still stable at that speed at least on the straight did you went throught some curve at that speed .I am asking all this as I am trying to determine why mine is stil very instable (on the rpad angel) at 127mph (H&R green original front suspentions)

Suspension is not new, shocks about 3 years old covering 30k and springs two years covering about 5k.

Springs are Eibach progressive, shock original Porsche.

I didn't notice any drifting or curve. It did grab the white lines more but I think that's more to do with my tyres than anything.
Have you have the geometry checked? tyre pressures may play a part as well.

Here's a couple of suitable pics...

I've had 150's on Autobahn a few times. No issues. Handling fine. No problems with bendy bits, but wouldn't want to take any tight corners at that speed.

I would also suggest getting your setting checked over. My C2 is standard. No major mods.
