17" Cup 1 Wheels Wanted for 951

Hi All,


Does anybody have a set of Cup 1 wheels (17") that are surplus to requirements? (9" wide at rear and 7.5" wide at front) to fit a 951? (I need to refurb my 18" wheels after foolishly using Wonder Wheels to clean them up some time ago (doh)!).

Preferably with reasonable tyres on (i.e. legal tread). Thanks.

Hi All,

Wonder Wheels is fine for painted wheels. However, it is not advisable to use it on wheels that have a lacquer finish (over bare metal). I used it on my Veloce 3.6 wheels and they are now horrible :-(

As Wonder Wheels is in effect a weak acid - it needs to be used carefully. On a standard painted wheel (such as Cup 1, 2 etc) - it is fine.

Andrew, et al - Thanks for that. As I have refurbed (Painted) D90s I assume it is OK, but will apply sparingly and rinse well after use.
