R3 has been invited to attend an open day/Concours competition at Porsche Centre Kendal. A few of us went over last year and had a great run out on some fantastic driving roads with the added bonus of a chance to catch up with some of the guys & girls from R18 where we were made extremely welcome by Simon Parker and his staff. They have a few different categories in which club members can enter this year, one of which is a visitors class. Mike Trotter informs me they are struggling for numbers to show in this class and wondered if anyone from R3 would be interested in making up the numbers. The day is nothing too serious and I know some of you have cars well worthy of a prize winning place. So if you just fancy a fun day out or would like to have a dabble at showing your car please register your interest here.

We'll be going, may even put the car in for the concourse competition. However this may be a mistake and make my OCD even worse :)

Cheers

Hi G & D - Would have liked to have gone on this as Parker and Parker in Kendal is where I bought my first Porsche in 2004 - Boxter 3.2S, regret start of 1 weeks holiday and we should be soaking up the Sun by then in Cornwall.
Hope you all have a great day - Cumberland sausage washed down with a nice pint of Jennings.

Cheers

Hi Greg,

Put me down for this please.
Shame our local OPC doesn't look after our region the same way...

Simon

Unfortunately we are coming back from sunny Cornwall that day - leaving Karen and David to enjoy the weather and Jennings!
