18" wheel options?

My C2S is running on standard 17" wheels and I am seriously thinking about changing them for standard 18" turbo or "turbo style" wheels.

Is it better to go for the genuine (hollow spoke) item or the look-alike alternative?

Also what about non-Porsche options?

Discuss.

Robert

PS Apologies I am sure this question must have been discussed at length in the past!

If your riding on 17" alloys you should surely notice the difference when you switch to 18" alloys with low profile tyres. From sailing a 'boat' with the 17" you will find the ride firmer and more positive.

Thanks y'all.

Not sure about the "sailing a boat" sentiment though - everything felt in pretty good shape going round Arnage etc a few weeks ago and hitting circa 145+mph on the Mulsanne! But maybe the message really is - expect the ride to get somewhat (a lot) harder!

But the 18" just look sooooo ... pretty!
