18" Winter Tyres. Are they extinct?

Can anyone suggest a good source for winter tyres? I have a 997.2 Carrera daily on 18" wheels. 235/40*18 fronts aren't a problem but 265/40*18 rears are unicorns. I have tried all the obvious online providers (including mytyres.co.uk who turned out to be in Germany and who struggle with the meaning of "in stock"). Blackcircles and some of the others simply don’t stock that size. Any inspiration?

Are there any suitable "All Seasons" tyres? Perhaps pure Winter tyres are less common these days

I had heard that suppliers were narrowing down the ranges that they were offering, especially with N-ratings. I'd also heard though, that in some European countries they were insisting on full winters rather than "All seasons" with Porsche now no longer giving All seasons N-ratings due to their "jack of all trades, master of none" status. All very confusing. Have you tried your local Porsche Centre?

I ‘bought’ some Pirellis recently from ATS taking advantage of a Black Friday deal only to be told that being ‘in stock’ meant nothing of the sort. They are now searching other options Conti 850’s could be an option) as I was keen not to loose out on the Black Friday saving but I’m not holding my breath.

Funnily enough, I would have bought Michelin but they don’t offer a consistent tyre front and back (same 18” sizes as OP) and speaking with them direct I was advised to try another manufacturer! I also asked about the new Michelin Pilot All Season as for UK use I suspect they would be a better option but they are only made to US spec and are not approved for UK / EU use with no plans for that to change.

So all hopes remain pinned on ATS at the moment unless anyone knows of somewhere else?

I eventually found some Michelin Alpin PA4 's on Ebay of all places (https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/buytyreonline). They are allegedly in stock and due to arrive next week. Hoping it is not a "in stock" but not in stock situation Spoke to my two local OPC' both of whom were helpful but could only sell me a full set of wheels and tyres for all the money.
