1969 rear view mirror

Hello
Can anyone confirm the interior rear view mirror is a single year only? It's not a metal three screw as for all years prior, it has a 'break off' mounting

Importantly does anyone know if its available anywhere and if it might be used on another car as well as the 912?

Thanks in advance

The mirror for the '68 models was a 'one-year only' version (breakaway).

Up to '67 the mirror was held to the roof by 3 screws

'69-'73 mirrors were attached to a separate base stuck to the windscreen

The only mirror offered now has a 914 part number:

914.731.014.11

I think I've got a decent used one if you're interested but I'm away until after the weekend.

Thank you both very much for your rapid responses

I have a friend rebuilding a 912 - I shall pass the info along and will let you know if he wishes to follow up your kind offer of the 2nd hand .
