1972 2.4Te MFI Engine Swap

Hi all been ages since last here hope all well.

Been thinking of swapping my 2.4engine for a bigger version, does anybody have any help or comments on this?

Speaking to some porsche guys at a show, it seems 3.2 is the way to go.

Other than the engine, what else would i have to look at, electrics etc?

Definataley can be done, and from what I've heard it's reletively simply . . but having never done it I can't give any detail . . . a search on Pelican came up with some stuff that might help . . .

Why do you want to swap out the fantastic MFI engine to replace it with a 3.2 carrera engine?
I can assure you that a well set up 2.3E engine will give more power than the book level with excellent torque.
The 3.2 engine is much heavier and will ampliy the 'extreme' handling effects of an early 911.
If you do do this keep hold of the original engine as these motors are in demend due to the crankcase being used on the 2.7 engine.
