Hi,
I am looking to purchase a 1973 L/H inner armrest/doorhandle/doorpull that was installed on R/H drive 911s from 69-73. I am located in the US (Calif) and would need the part to be shipped to me. FYI this combo handle is installed on the R/H inner door on US 911s (L/H drive). Any leads on wrecking yards, used parts dealers or such would be appreciated. TIA
Bob

I see you want the one with the extension going up to the top of the door (passenger side on RHD cars). Have puzzled why the passenger side has this but the driver's side does not on both RHD and LHD. Assumed it must be deleted on the driver's side for elbow clearance when steering.

They are very very difficult to find in any sort of reasonable condition.

Ian.

I can always sympathise with someone looking for the impossible - we've all been there. So your request stuck in my mind. Here's the baby you're looking for:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/porsche-911-1973-interior-door-armrests_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1240Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem335257f4f5QQitemZ220424828149QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_500wt_1612

Item number: 220424828149 if that ebay link didn't work.

Now then, anyone got a couple of mint door pockets...!!!

Graham

Graham - those two ebay auctions are for LHD parts (which are easy to find) .... Bob is looking for the armrest/door pull from a RHD car (passenger door) which are very difficult to find since not many early RHD 911 (or 912) models are broken for spares these days.
