1975 prices

i know this applies to not just turbos but i thought i'd post here anways :)

as part of a beer/wine/irish whiskey fuel ebay shopping spree i bought a lot of reference material for my 3.0 930 rebuild project including various model cars, sales literature etc

i also got a copy of november 1975 Motor magazine with a road test for the 3.0 930. this magazine lists new car prices which i thought might be interesting to some:

911 N - GBP7,799

some interesting classified adverts also:

gotta love those 70's colours!

Looking at some of the modern cars shown as avatars on this forum I think most of those colours are still available! [:D]
 
To get an idea on prices, was offered around that time a 2nd hand 911 RS from a fellow student in London in race trim for pds 1,750 on German number plates... Unfortunately it was above my student budget and I was also worried as it had no heating... wish now I had bought it!!! I had just recently purchased a 2nd hand E-Type 4.2 fastback on Swiss plates for pds 250.00
